I made my first table like this - for me - about 2 1/2 years ago. It accomplished exactly what I wanted - both questions above! My wife had the great idea that I should sell them on the internet (since there was nothing else out there like this - believe me, I looked!). I told her she was crazy - "Too hard to make them the same way every time, and shipping would be a nightmare!"
Well, her request actually intrigued me, so I tried it out... She was right - in a little over two years, I have shipped out over 150 tables to every state in the country (except Hawaii), as well as Ireland, Latvia, and Chile. Who would have ever thought...
